Ladies Gold Watch

Can anybody suggest nice brand names or may be model numbers at a max price $125. A two tone (gold silver) or gold plated is what I am looking for. But any other suggestions on latest trends in shiny stainless steel are also welcome. I am confused looking at so many of them. Please help. Thank You.

I have an 18k, 17 rubis, super atic ladies watch, maybe from the 30’s brasil and I’d like to know more about it but everywhere I look I cant find info. I dont trust anyone enough to let them "see" it (as in keep it overnight) because its a family heirloom(and it has 8 diamonds in it…and its gold and platinum…)

That is a very early watch from Brazil or a similar South American country. On the one hand, do not be mislead by all the jewels in the watch. These are tiny, industrial quality gems and are not the quality and size of a fabulous ring. On the other hand, if the watch is in good working order, or can be fixed so it works well and it is indeed from the 1930s, it could be of some value.

You don’t have to leave a watch overnight to have it appraised. Any good jeweler and seller of watches who has been in business for awhile should be able to look at it and tell very quickly if there is value. Do not believe the first person you speak with, try several stores.

I was looking through my mom’s old jewelry and I found a 14k gold bracelet style ladies watch. There is no style number or any markings on the back. The face of the watch simply say "MICHELE". My understanding is that the brand owned by Fossil, Michele Watch, only came about around 20 years ago. So what is this watch of my mothers??? She claims to have received it as a give around 1970…

Any HELP??
i have tried google and yahoo… i cannot find anything on the internet so far… only new michele watches…

In years of extensive vintage jewellery rummaging and buying, I have never come across a Michele watch.

I have just bought an old solid gold Omega watch that is engraved on the back…ER 14th October 1965. The seller said it was presented to a Lady in waiting on her retirement. Is this correct? The engraving is very skillfull and fancy.

If it is it would also have the persons name who received it.
